Recent research has shown that the best treatment for back pain is movement and physical activity. This doesn't necessarily mean strenuous exercise, back pain can be managed and reduced through more gentle exercise such as walking, swimming or yoga.
If, like many people, you sit for long periods of time, set your chair and desk up to support a comfortable position and try to stand up and move around every 30 minutes, you could go for a longer walk in your lunch break too!

Straighten Up UK
The BCA (British Chiropractic Association) has created a programme of three minute exercises called Straighten Up UK which focus on improving posture by promoting movement, balance, strength and flexibility in the spine which can be fitted into your daily routine and can be done by adults and children.
